Your roof takes year-round sun, coastal air, Santa Ana winds and winter storms. We repair and replace tile, shingle and flat roofs on homes across San Diego County. Every job is run by owner Duane Sibley, licensed since 2024 (CA Lic #1117747).

Leaks, broken or slipped tiles, missing shingles, worn flashing, and failed pipe boots and vents. We find the source, show you photos, and fix it right the first time.

Common in San Diego: the tiles outlast the underlayment beneath them. We remove the tiles, install new underlayment and flashing, then reset your good tiles (a "lift and relay").

Complete tear-off, deck repair, new underlayment, ventilation and roofing, with permits and inspections handled. Choose from Good, Better and Best options.

Patio covers, room additions and mid-century homes with flat sections. We fix ponding water, failed seams and drains, and install durable flat roof systems and coatings.

Free inspections for buying, selling, insurance or peace of mind, with photos and a plain-English summary. Skylights, vents and gutters sealed and flashed so they don't become the next leak.
The best fit for most budgets and tract homes. Wide range of colors, lighter than tile, and Class A fire-rated options are available for homes in fire hazard zones.
The classic look of Spanish and Mediterranean homes across North County. Very durable and fire resistant, but heavy, and the underlayment beneath is the usual failure point.
A premium, long-lasting choice for upscale and historic homes. Clay is brittle to walk on, so repairs and underlayment work need an experienced tile roofer.
The look of tile or shake at a fraction of the weight. Strong in wind, Class A fire-rated as a system, and a smart option for homes near canyons and open space.
For patios, additions and flat sections of a home. Good drainage and well-sealed seams matter most. Lifespans are general industry ranges; real life depends on installation, ventilation and maintenance.

A roof doesn't need replacing just because it's old. We look at the age of the underlayment, how many areas are leaking, the condition of the roof deck, and whether repairs would cost a large share of a new roof. If a repair will buy you years, we'll say so.
Signs it may be time to replace: multiple leaks in different areas or the same leak returning; shingles curling, cracking or losing granules; brittle, torn or sun-baked underlayment under tiles; sagging or soft spots in the roof deck; a shingle roof past 20-25 years, or original underlayment on an older tile roof.
Permits and codes: a full re-roof requires a building permit in the City of San Diego and most North County cities. California allows no more than two layers of roofing, so a home that already has two must be torn off. Switching to a heavier material, such as shingle to tile, can also trigger a structural review. We pull the permits and schedule the inspections.
Fire ratings: CAL FIRE's 2025 Fire Hazard Severity Zone maps expanded High and Very High zones across San Diego County cities, pulling in many neighborhoods next to canyons and open space. Homes in those zones fall under California's wildfire-resistant construction rules, which call for Class A fire-rated roofing. We check your address and use compliant materials.
Not sure if you need a repair or a new roof? Duane will inspect your roof, show you photos of what he finds, and give you a written Good, Better & Best estimate. Serving homes across San Diego County.
Have another question? Call or text Duane at 760-410-2340.
Most homes take a few working days once materials arrive, plus time for the permit and city inspection. We'll give you a timeline in your written estimate.
No. As long as we can access the roof and the work area, you don't need to be home. Duane keeps you updated along the way.
We provide photos and a written scope of the damage that you can submit with your claim, and we're happy to answer your adjuster's questions about the roof.
Yes. We coordinate removing your solar panels, replacing the roof underneath, and reinstalling the system so it goes back up on a sound roof.
It depends on your home's style, budget, roof structure and whether you're in a fire hazard zone. Architectural shingles suit most budgets, concrete and clay tile last the longest, and stone-coated steel offers a light, fire-resistant tile look. We'll walk you through Good, Better and Best options.
